Inner City Challenge

Event Description:

On Monday, June 1, 2009, over 40 participants of all ages gathered at Siloam Mission for a walking tour of Winnipeg’s inner city to learn more about the challenges faced each day by the poor and homeless.  The participants faced uncertain conditions: cool weather, and heavy rain, much like those Siloam Mission serves each day. The evening was wrapped up with tours, a dinner at Siloam Mission, and a special message from CEO John Mohan immediately following his return from his Continuing Mid-Life Crisis Bikeathon for the Homeless.
