We all leave a legacy;
some in the hearts of family and friends, some in the next generation we’ve influenced in some way. A legacy is important because it represents the values that have been meaningful to us during our lifetimes.
Those who leave a gift to Siloam in their wills come from all walks of life and though they may have had varied backgrounds, what united them was the desire to make a difference for others by leaving a legacy to Siloam Mission.
Bequests can be made for any amount. Leaving a gift in your will to Siloam Mission is the simplest way to create a legacy for generations and provide dignity and community for all. Some give a specific amount, while others prefer to designate a percentage of the remainder of their estate. Whether your estate is large or small, you can have a substantial impact on the lives of people experiencing homelessness and poverty by supporting the future work of Siloam Mission.
After you have remembered your loved ones, please consider including Siloam Mission in your will to help ensure dignity and community for all. By leaving a legacy, you may be able to achieve significant tax savings. Regardless of whether or not you choose to remember the people we serve, or some other worthwhile charity, we encourage you to explore this opportunity with your lawyer or financial planner.
