In order to improve Siloam’s services, the Drop In will be getting renovated starting July 2 for about 5 weeks. These changes will improve the plumbing, ventilation, and flooring, and greatly reduce Drop In closures.
During this time, there will be access to limited services at 300 Princess Street, just around the corner, in the Old Drop In. All meals will continue to be served (both in that space and available at the door) and shelter service will continue uninterrupted. We will continue to offer services like the health centre, clothing and hygiene, and housing support.
As there will be space limitations in the old drop in, you can expect to see a lineup forming along the building on Princess Street, going south. Once completed, we look forward to re-opening the Drop In and resuming our regular service offerings.
