For many, Christmas is a joyful time. But for others, it’s unbearably lonely. Sad. Painful. Many of the men and women who are experiencing homelessness, recovery or transition will spend Christmas Eve not with family, but at Siloam Mission—seeking respite from the cold. From mental health issues. Unresolved trauma. Pain.

When you respond with your compassionate Christmas gift before December 24, you’ll provide a guest of Siloam Mission with presents to open on Christmas morning.

Presents like a toque, mitts, long underwear, hand warmers, toiletries, a gift card for a coffee and a muffin—and some Christmas chocolate, of course! Essential items that will help our most vulnerable neighbours feel cared for. Seen. Loved.

Because your special Christmas gift will go deeper than providing presents for Christmas morning.

For many of our guests, your gift will be the only gift they receive this year. Which means, your compassion has the power to remind a man or woman experiencing homelessness, recovery or transition that they are not alone. That someone cares about them and is thinking about them this holiday season.

And that gift—your gift—might be the best one of all.

This holiday season, your gift of just $40 will provide presents for one person who is alone and experiencing homelessness this Christmas. But please hurry—in order to make sure that all guests of Siloam Mission have presents to open on Christmas morning, we need your help quickly. Christmas Eve is only a few weeks away!
