The Nest

The Nest, our newest program, operates out of the Arlene Wilson Recovery Centre and provides person-centered supports for people on their journey of addictions recovery.

All participants attend group and individual counseling sessions. The focus of The Nest is to support participants in learning the life skills and coping strategies they need to meet their individual goals, maintain their sobriety, and eventually transition to independent living.

Arlene Wilson Recovery Centre

The Arlene Wilson Recovery Centre is a 20-unit housing facility for participants of The Nest who otherwise would have no place to live following their addictions treatment programs. The facility occupies the former administrative space on the third floor of 300 Princess Street, above Hannah’s Place Emergency Shelter.

Residents of the Arlene Wilson Recovery Centre have their own private room, as well as shared spaces for meals, entertainment, and specialized programming.

This facility was generously funded by Shared Health Manitoba, the Federal Rapid Housing Initiative administered through the City of Winnipeg, Arlene Wilson, and many individual donors.
